Mayors Anthony Calderone (Forest
Park), Joseph Tamburino
(Hillside), Henderson Yarbrough
(Maywood) and representatives from
Bellwood, Westchester, River Forest,
Oak Park and Melrose Park attended a
meeting set up by State
Representative Karen Yarbrough to
discuss federal planning funds for
transportation projects. IDOT

Jason Tai conducted the workshop,
which was hosted by the Village of
Forest Park.
“Providing information to
communities is an important part of
being a state representative,”
Representative Yarbrough remarked,
“and helping communities access
vital dollars for transportation
needs is a high priority for me,”
she stated.
