State Representative Karen and State Senator Jacqueline Collins were awarded financial literacy awards by the Financial Planning Association at a recent banquet.  Senator Collins and Rep. Yarbrough were chief sponsors of a bill that required the Illinois State Board of Education to develop and adopt curricula, materials and guidelines to implement a program of instruction on financial literacy in public high schools throughout Illinois.
