I have always believed in good
government, and that good government is achieved when
elected officials are Visible, Accessible and Accountable.
Throughout my tenure as State
Representative, I worked on behalf of all of the citizens of
the 7th District. My efforts have resulted in
important leadership positions in Springfield, and resources
flowing back to the communities that make up the District.
I am proud to have been
entrusted with the responsibility of representing the citizens of the 7th District in Springfield.
I have voted for education funding, economic development,
protection and care for children and seniors, crime
prevention and a healthier Illinois.

Cleaner Indoor Air for Illinois
Illinois'
1989 Clean Indoor Air Act actually
prevents most towns in Illinois from
regulating second-hand smoke in public
places. My measure, House Bill
672, puts the decision back where it
should be, with the people. HB
672 was signed into law.
